Abstract:
Abstract The clearer you are about your purpose and objectives, the better your project will be. This chapter reviews the reasons for doing a project and identifies the more obvious implications from your point of view. It shows how the nature of your audience, and its expectations, differ depending on the amount of management experience on which you can draw, and concludes by asking you to carry out an exercise to fit your own preferences to the requirements and objectives of the particular programme on which you are registered.
