Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we introduce the reader to the definition of data science and to some of the tools the data scientist needs to know. It builds an approach for the data scientist to know enough about the complete supply chain of data or have enough mastery in each and every part of the data pipeline. It includes topics, tools and techniques designed to help you train and maintain your Data Science Centre of Excellence.
