Abstract:
Abstract This chapter shows how the partitioning of sites can be taken into account during the analysis of an ecological data table. We present the Between-Class and Within-Class Analyses and Discriminant Analysis. Then we present several examples of use of these methods on a small data set with simple structures. The chapter ends with a comparison between Discriminant Analysis and Between-Class Analysis.
