A chapter in The Great Facilitator, 2019, pp 83-89 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes three key lessons learned from Joseph F. Hair Jr. beginning as a student in the inaugural DBA cohort at Kennesaw State University’s DBA program and through the journey of developing into a scholar under Joe’s tutelage. These lessons are universal to those who wish to grow their abilities as an educator and researcher. Begin by simplifying the meaning of the subject you wish to communicate. Next, look for innovative new methods to grow as an educator and researcher. Finally, create an environment that fosters engagement and encourages others to collaborate and grow. Each of these lessons is as straightforward as they are difficult to master; however, Joe’s accomplishments and perhaps, more importantly, his relationships demonstrate how much can be accomplished when they are mastered.
