Abstract: Abstract Over the last decade, Hair et al.’s Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice article “PLS-SEM: Indeed a Silver Bullet” has emerged as one of the most widely recognized and cited publications in the social science disciplines. This chapter is a reflection on the article’s impact on business research and other fields of science, as well as discussion on the characteristics that have contributed to its success.
