A chapter in The Great Facilitator, 2019, pp 167-173 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This concise report aims to show how positively, consistently, and influentially the publications of Professor Joseph Hair and his fellow researchers affected the applied social sciences research area in Brazil. Even before it was translated into Portuguese, the book entitled Multivariate Data Analysis was already a reference, because unlike many other publications, the book is very illustrative and allows readers with little experience in quantitative methods to carry out analyses of their data. The Essentials of Business Research Methods quickly became a benchmark for undergraduate and graduate courses, because it presents all business research stages and aspects concerning the research techniques. The book entitled A Primer on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling is a manual for the uses of SmartPLS software in which the author and his colleagues present the various characteristics of the partial least squares method in an illustrative way. We ultimately also recount some of the funniest events that involve the abovementioned publications. Based on that which has been stated, Professor Hair’s publications are “the” reference for researchers who use quantitative methods in Brazil.
