Chapter 10 in Responsible Organizations in the Global Context, 2019, pp 175-197 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter presents the initial results of a comparative study of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices of Veolia in France, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. The research is based on the following resources: interviews with managers, a questionnaire survey among employees, materials published by the company, and the monitoring of the media. It highlights divergences and convergences of discourse and practices in the countries with various economic levels of development as well as with different perceptions of the concept of CSR.
