Abstract:
Abstract This contribution describes how digitization is understood and lived at Zalando. In the course of this treatment, the management accounting peculiarities in a digital environment, as well as the influence that digitization has on company management, will be shown. Furthermore, the development of digital business models and their influence on Zalando’s performance management will be reflected. Lastly, specific performance management approaches of digital economies will be highlighted.
