Chapter Chapter 16 in Reverberations of a Stroke, 2019, pp 63-65 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract It is now late February. I had intended to close this book with the preceding chapter, at the two-year anniversary of my stroke. Recently in considering this tale of my two-year journey, I had observed that Year One could be summarized as Survival, Year Two as Acceptance, and that Year Three is to represent my Evolution. Then it dawned on me that the future has arrived already, and it continues to unfurl itself before me. Year Three is here and now. I find myself counting my life again in years, rather than in months.
