Chapter Chapter 3 in Reverberations of a Stroke, 2019, pp 9-12 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Back in Boulder, I settled comfortably into a small private room in the rehab unit, with a window framing an uplifting view of the mountains beyond. Within a few days, my mental awareness was returning and I had a better understanding of my medical situation. I remember particularly having the clear conscious feeling of a joy of life. I was alive! A second life beckoned me.
