Chapter Chapter 11 in Islamic Financial Products, 2019, pp 155-165 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Two most common debt financing instruments in the Islamic banking system is Bai-Bithaman Ajil and Murabahah. These two instruments are mostly being used in the banking sector Malaysia as products provided to the public as a means to finance their need. We will be focusing on Malaysian Banks for the chapter as a means to research on the instruments and also compare with other commercial banks. We will see how they use these two instruments as part of their on-going objective to provide the public with Islamic products in the banking sector.
