Abstract:
Abstract From a protein domain families database we construct (m × n) arrays with m rows (protein domains) and n columns (amino acids) in order to organize a sample space with each of these (m × n) arrays as the representative of at least one domain family. Our proposal is to derive a thermostatistics approach to the study of the distribution of amino acids through the entropy measure values of their associated probabilities of occurrence.
