Chapter 18 in The Viability of Organizations Vol. 3, 2020, pp 303-319 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes the process of diagnosing an organization and shows how the VSM can be used for simulations, for instance, to test the organizational effects of a new strategy. Further, this chapter details the four dimensions of complexity (factual, social, temporal, and psychological), how they interrelate, and how they affect the process of diagnosing the organization.
