Women have more career breaks, higher rates of part-time work and therefore lower pensions than menMen . Workers in hazardousHazardous jobs or with long careers can under certain conditions retire earlier than the legal age of 62 years. The gender inequalities observed in early years of employment are exacerbated in the latter part of the working lifeWorking life .
