A chapter in The Startup, 2020, pp 79-88 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Entrepreneurship is a full contact sport. When you have something of perceived value, there are lots of people out there who want to take it away from you: customers who want it for free, competitors who want to steal it from you, peers who are jealous of you, investors who want to own it, and other investors who want to own you. A boss of mine used to say: “Everyone wants to eat your lunch.” Unfortunately, this is true.
