Abstract:
Abstract Our cultures form us, and we form—and reform—them. As a workplace leader, part of your role is to understand the culture of your organization. Assimilating into a culture, and leading change within a culture, often hinge on how well you understand your group’s basic shared assumptions. The leader who has absorbed an organization’s values and embodies what is best about the shared culture is well positioned for effective cultural stewardship.
