Abstract: Abstract Green consumerism has expanded quickly throughout the developed world, and it has started to emerge in developing nations as well. Many theories try to explain consumer habits, and in recent years, the importance of consumption has become highlighted primarily because of concerns about the quality of the environment and interest in sustainable development processes. In short, environmentally responsible purchasing is vital as an antidote to the unnecessary purchasing of goods which can severely harm the environment. Over the last decade, many authors have studied different green consumer purchasing behaviors. They have identified several influential factors that help to shape shopping decisions. Such studies explain inconsistencies between green purchasing attitude and actual behavior.
