Chapter Chapter 14 in Understanding Workplace Bullying, 2020, pp 265-278 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter concludes this critique on workplace bullying, reiterates a few of the main arguments, highlights the contributions of the empirical qualitative studies, and raises concerns about the ethical implications of this contemporary management control strategy and the lack of legal protections for the employees. The chapter also identifies inherent limitations present in this entire research project, which can be used as further directions for future research, to enable this critical investigation on workplace bullying to continue, thereby ensuring designing of workplaces in the future which are humane, civil, respectful, and congenial.
