Chapter Chapter 9 in Quantitative Methods in Pharmaceutical Research and Development, 2020, pp 409-445 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Collaboration between biostatisticians, pharmacokineticists, clinicians, formulation, and laboratory scientists provides a wealthy pool of specialty experience to draw from. When working as a team, using quantitative modeling and simulation methodologies, significant efficiencies, and improvements can be made in the drug development process. The following chapter illustrates several case studies illustrating the impact these close collaborations can foster.
