Chapter Chapter 3 in Spatial Relationships Between Two Georeferenced Variables, 2020, pp 47-68 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Assessing the significance of the correlation between the components of a bivariate random field is of great interest in the analysis of spatial-spatial data. In this chapter, testing the association between two georeferenced correlated variables is addressed for the components of a bivariate Gaussian random field using the asymptotic distribution of the ML estimator of a general parametric class of bivariate covariance models.
