Abstract: Abstract Single-valued neutrosophic uncertain linguistic variable (S-VNULV) is a mixture of two different notions like single-valued neutrosophic set (S-VNS) and uncertain linguistic variable (ULV) to cope with complicated and awkward information in realistic decision problems. The aims of this manuscript are to explore three-way decision (T-WD) based on decision-theoretic rough set (D-TRS) for S-VNULV, and their some operational laws are also presented. Further, based on the S-VNULV, the generalized Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM) operators are called single-valued neutrosophic uncertain linguistic generalized MSM (S-VNULGMSM) operator and single-valued neutrosophic uncertain linguistic weighted generalized MSM (S-VNULWGMSM) operator, and their special cases are also discussed. Based on the explored operator and D-TRS, we explored an algorithm to evaluate the numerical example for finding the reliability and effectiveness of the presented approaches.
