Abstract:
Abstract The chapter describes different approaches to discerning key indicators of high-tech companies while comparing them with high-tech industries. In the chapter, the role of knowledge-intensive and technologically intensive industries in the global economy is determined, and the factors and barriers of their international competitiveness are identified and analysed in the current context of the digitalization of the economy. An overview of the existing measures of state support for high-tech companies is given, and the main directions are highlighted.
