Chapter Chapter 7 in The Economic Dimension of Eurasian Integration, 2021, pp 143-159 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The article deals with the current state and prospects of cooperation in science and higher education among the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as one of the main drivers for the development of its common labor market and human resources, the accumulation of volume, and the increase in qualitative characteristics of trade, economic cooperation, and deepening integration by means of stimulating innovative activities, including the digital agenda of the EAEU until the year 2025. The authors try to prove that, by means of active interaction in the spheres of science and higher education, the EAEU will be able to progress considerably in realizing, as stated in the EAEU treaty, its purpose “of the formation of the common market of goods, services, capital and human resources within the Union” (The Eurasian Economic Union Treaty 2014), providing economic growth, and also participating in global economic and political processes on an equal footing, by trying to obtain a high degree of competitiveness of goods and services.
