Chapter Chapter 7 in Heron Streaming, 2021, pp 93-115 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Besides low-level API, Heron provides high-level API. The Heron high-level API introduces processing graphs, which are based on the notion—streamlet. A streamlet is an unbounded sequence of tuples. Operations can be applied to streamlets, including map, filter, union, clone, repartition, reduce, and join. Besides, source and sink are terminals of processing graphs. Heron high-level API has multiple language bindings, including Java, Python, and Scala.
