Chapter Chapter 9 in Heron Streaming, 2021, pp 133-143 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract When running Heron jobs in a data center, Heron Tracker is a useful tool to monitor multiple jobs’ running states. It queries the Zookeeper to find the running Heron jobs and then queries the topology master of each job. It exposes a RESTful interface and accepts job running state query and metrics query. The metrics query adopts a query language called Metrics Query Language. Heron provides two user-facing tools as the front end for Tracker: Heron UI is a web interface displaying metadata from Tracker, and Heron Explorer is a tool for command-line enthusiasts.
