Chapter Chapter 1 in Data Capital, 2021, pp 1-32 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Data as a resource implies the future is not what it used to be. We should rethink the shape of the next normal on capitalism and the global economic order, corresponding to a data-rich world. It is impossible to know what will happen. But it is possible to consider the lessons of the past, both distant and recent, and on that basis, to think constructively about the future—data as capital.
