Chapter Chapter 6 in Data Capital, 2021, pp 177-207 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter looks at the metamorphoses of data capital and their circuits, which refer to the productivity-based potential economic impacts, such as production, circulation, and accumulation. Data capital’s overall impact on the economy is profit multiple, competition intensifies, convergence effect, and latecomer advantage. We argue that data science constitutes ecosystem productive forces.
