Abstract: Abstract “If we don’t see each other in this world, we will meet in Bielefeld.” I was involved in the founding of the Bielefeld University, which now ranks among the Top 20 young universities in the world. That is where I received my first professorship. We had excellent students. For three years, I led the largest German management training institute situated in a medieval castle and was able to establish a first-class network of top managers. During my university years, I conducted internationally recognized research and laid the foundation for our management consultancy.
