Chapter 3 in Integrating Culture in Successful RIA Mergers and Acquisitions, 2021, pp 31-40 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract There are the four main stages of integrating two work cultures during the M&A process. Stage 1 involves the initial meetings, typically between a few select individuals or just the principals of the firm who beyond numbers, share their over-arching philosophies, goals, and respective visions for the future firm. The second stage expands the circle with the introduction of additional team leads who may discuss at a high level each firm’s processes and approaches to operations. The third stage occurs after the deal is complete (or near complete), and it involves early collaboration between teams and the start of employee interviews. The last stage involves implementing the processes you’ve created and working together as a new, integrated team.
