Coming into the Cosmos
Jack Gregg ()
Chapter 5 in The Cosmos Economy, 2021, pp 43-52 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Today when you bring up the topic of space exploration, the notion of humans like us going to space to see what’s there or to live and work, you are no longer considered foolish. But it didn’t used to be that way. Today when you consider making an investment in a new space venture you will find like-minded venture capital firms and co-investors to join you. But it didn’t used to be that way. Today space is regularly in the news with stories of private firms taking the lead in space tourism, of economical and reusable rockets, of the establishment of the Space Force as a new military branch, and of plans to colonize Mars by mid-century. But it didn’t used to be that way.
