Chapter 1 in Overcoming Overtourism, 2021, pp 1-7 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract When I was 8 years old, my parents offered me a trip to Paris because I was eager to see the Eiffel Tower. I was greatly impressed by this imposing monument. However, my parents emphasized that I should also see the most famous painting in the world. I found the Mona Lisa beautiful but was surprised at how small the masterpiece is in reality.
