Chapter Chapter 3 in Visualizing Linear Models, 2021, pp 63-80 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract So far, we have only worried about approximating or fitting data; we have not asked why the data looks like it does. Moving forward, we’ll use probabilistic modeling to consider possible mechanisms generating the data. In this chapter, we’ll briefly learn how to work with random vectors, the building blocks of probabilistic modeling.
