Abstract: Abstract Emotions are a part of everyone’s life, and the workplace is no different. This chapter will look at both traditional and contemporary perspectives of how humans perceive and generate emotions. Concepts such as emotional intelligence, pride, passion, and well-being are all examined. The chapter also includes a discussion on how emotions are particularly relevant and important in the sport workplace.
