Chapter 8 in Organizational Behavior in Sport Management, 2021, pp 81-90 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Organizational change represents a diverse set of actions and behaviors within an organization. These changes may be small, more incremental, or large and radical, impacting a broad group of stakeholders. Likewise, change can be slow and evolutionary, or very quick and revolutionary. Organizational change often occurs as personnel, culture, or structure evolves and may be influenced by external stakeholders. In this chapter, organizational change is examined as a process through the lens of different frameworks. Aspects of organizational change, such as resistance to change and learning organizations, are discussed.
