Chapter 9 in Organizational Behavior in Sport Management, 2021, pp 93-102 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes the various forms of personality among individuals and how their personality can contribute to their “fit” with their organization. This chapter discusses various personality frameworks such as the DISC profile, the Big 5, and Myers-Briggs’ perspectives. We also explain how one’s beliefs and value systems guide one’s decision-making processes. The chapter concludes with a review of the concept of “person-environment fit” and its various subcomponents.
