Abstract:
Abstract The publication of the Interim Indices of Consumer Prices (IICP)Interim Indices of Consumer Prices (IICP) was a significant step in the harmonization process, fulfilling the requirement—with one month to spare—set out as Stage I of the harmonization timetable in Article 5 of the Framework Regulation (see Chapter 3.3.2 ). Because of this requirement, there was no need for any separate legislation to cover the production of the IICP.
