The Institutional Arrangements That Govern the Zone
Ali Zafar ()
Chapter Chapter 2 in The CFA Franc Zone, 2021, pp 13-21 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The CFA zone has several interesting features—including a particular set of exchange rate arrangements and its own currency pegged to the euro. Printed in a town called Chamalières in France by the Banque de France since 1945, the currency is used as legal tender in each of the two subzones.
