Abstract: Abstract A key global benchmark, setting prices for much of the global oil trade. Dated BrentDated brent is the price of physical Brent cargoes with nominated dates. Contracts for DifferenceContracts for Difference (CFD) (CFD) market reveals the expected value of Dated Brent several weeks forward. CFDsContracts for Difference (CFD) are the key in assessing the value of Dated BrentDated brent itself. London ‘window’ used for price discovery of Dated and cash Brentcash Brent. Derivatives Brent market is a key component of the Brent complex. Exchangesexchanges have become a key element in the process of BrentBrent price discovery.
