Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we will join Mary Schmidt Campbell on her program related investment (PRI)Program Related Investments (PRIs) funding journey for The Studio MuseumStudio Museum in Harlem, New York. Through The Studio Museum’s story, we’ll explore some of the common questions and misconceptions that persist about PRIs, in spite of their growing use in the U.S. For funders outside of the U.S., this chapter will hopefully serve as an introduction to how grantmaking institutions can think strategically about using their capital.
