Chapter Chapter 2 in Modelling of Complex Signals in Nerves, 2021, pp 1-9 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Mankind has always been interested in consciousness. It is certainly not only a question for philosophers but most of all for neuroscientists and is called sometimes ‘the hard problem’. The mental phenomena, processing of neural information, cognitive processes, governing of functions in living bodies, etc., are all intensively studied. To understand the neural responses of the brain to various stimuli one should also understand the physical mechanisms how signals propagate in a huge network of neurons.
