Abstract: Abstract The best way to get richer is to be already very, very rich, say with $1 billion in disposable cash. Then you might invest in an ultra-high-speed fiber link from New York to Chicago, beating out the existing links by a millisecond, and deterministically reap as much money as you can push through the system, trading on commodity price differences between the two locations.
