Chapter Chapter 16 in Investment Industry Claims Debunked, 2022, pp 269-279 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Non-U.S. readers: check out this chapter to see how lucky you are. In the United States, little is more fraught in the realm of personal finance than healthcare. We all need it. Few can afford to pay for it at today’s prices without outside help. The economies of scale that should be expected to bring down the costs are blocked by special interest groups determined to preserve their ever-growing revenue streams, over considerations of the public good.
