Chapter Chapter 9 in Investment Industry Claims Debunked, 2022, pp 171-181 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter covers several general investment issues, most importantly, mind your fees! (They may look small, but they compound over time and can really add up.) Likewise, discretionary expenditures from an equity fund that is depressed in value can be more costly than you may imagine. There is value to having a mortgage, even if you think you don’t need one or even want one. The cost of bonds often moves inversely with that of stocks. Etc.
