Abstract:
Abstract This chapter introduces the main notions underpinning research on the different facets of agricultural development presented in the monograph. These include structural change, productivity, and climate change. The relationships existing among these notions are discussed. The focus is on the European Union agriculture. The theoretical and empirical contributions related to the aforementioned concepts are discussed.
