Chapter Chapter 6 in Climate Risk and Business, 2021, pp 95-108 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The organization of this chapter addresses risk response actions, materiality, and reporting and disclosure challenges. Formal risk management process challenges exist in the risk treatment of climate risks even when guided by prioritization criteria to establish ‘the top list of strategic climate risks’ facing an organization. Complications also arise from new materiality considerations, climate risk reporting, and disclosure challenges, discussed in this sixth and final chapter.
