A chapter in The Digital Journey of Banking and Insurance, Volume II, 2021, pp 259-275 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Process mining collects the digital traces of processes in order to analyze the different and sometimes excessive variants a process flow can take. Process improvements based on this new transparency level create significant added value. The authors illustrate how to successfully set up process mining and how to utilize the knowledge gained in this process. The important role of process mining as an up-front technology for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and hyperautomation is pointed out.
