Abstract: Abstract The outbreak of COVID-19 has impacted the world economy and education sector is not the exception of this. Change is inevitable, and this pandemic taught the whole world to adopt the changes and explore the opportunities. As a result, the education sector has also transformed and opted digital mode to ensure the continuous teaching–learning, research, community engagement, etc. by using different tools and techniques. Teachers are the articulator of this society, and when the learning was on stack, they have taken up the challenge and adopted digital teaching–learning pedagogy for the students. On this context, this study has been undertaken, considering the engagement of teachers due to this COVID-19 pandemic. The respondents considered for this study are the teachers from various higher education institutes (HEI) of India. Identification of factors responsible for teacher’s engagement has been done in this study by using factor analysis. In order to prioritize the factors, multiple regression has been used. The findings of this study will help to strategize on the factors which are responsible for the engagement of teachers in a higher education institute (HEI) and hence contribute to carry on the uninterrupted teaching learning even after the pandemic.
