Chapter Chapter 10 in Corporate Debt Restructuring in Emerging Markets, 2021, pp 233-252 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter elaborates the simplified macroeconomic analysis methodology conducted by Kristi in the opening Bank of Commerce tale. The content is not meant to be a summary of a macroeconomics textbook. Instead, a simple (non-mathematical/econometrics-based) practical method to incorporate macroeconomics into credit analysis is introduced. The Bank of Commerce case fact set is used as the foundation. Thereafter, four brief new cases are reviewed using this approach to reinforce the learnings.
