Abstract: Abstract African economies, as they draw lessons from other successful economies, have a need to move towards a new generation of SEZs which respond to new challenges brought about by 4IR, the sustainable development imperative and sustainable development goals. In this regard, Africa must not copy and paste strategies from Asia.
