Chapter Chapter 24 in Executive Education after the Pandemic, 2022, pp 237-244 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Over the last 30 years, executive education has been in a long period of ongoing adaptation, mainly driven by established players in the realms of business and finance. That is now over. Executive education will change significantly going forward. We are today in what we can think of as a punctuated equilibrium, in large part because of the magnitude of Covid-19 which has driven an acceleration of changes that were already underway. We see executive education change because of new technology platforms, but also due to an increased awareness of the impacts of leadership decisions on people and planet. Many executive education providers still cater to the needs of the past, built on business models that are no longer viable. Many of these players will disappear if they are not redesigned to deliver the skills required for the changes ahead.
